On Tuesday 27 August, a packed St Mary’s Merton parish hall was treated to a thoroughly entertaining evening by a merry band of local people – individuals, duos, quartets and beyond – to raise much-needed funds for FiA, one of St Mary’s supported charities.
A total of £1453.55 was raised in direct donations to FiA and bar takings, the latter funded by a generous anonymous donor.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Vicar of St Mary’s, Revd. John Hayward, for initiating and organising the event, the brave people who trod the boards to provide the entertainment, and the generous people who together raised such an amazing amount to help FiA in their important work to support local homeless people.
Below are photos of just a few of the acts who braved the stage to raise money for FiA and its important work in helping local homeless people.
