Thank you so much for everything you’ve done to support FiA in the last year and to make life better for homeless and vulnerably-housed people in Merton. We can only do what we do because of your generosity and of supporters like you.
The next few weeks are very busy for our staff and volunteers alike. Here’s what’s going on – please do come and support us if you can. We’d be delighted to see you.

South Western Railway held their annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal from 1 to 7 December, inviting rail users and local people to donate gifts that we can distribute to our homeless service users. Grateful thanks go to the SWR Wimbledon team for once again supporting our work with homeless people, and to those who generously donated gifts.

The Inspire Community Choir led a delightful evening of Christmas music on 5 December, and raised an amazing £610 for Faith in Action. Thank you to the choir and church and, of course, everyone who came and donated.

Merton Winter Night Shelter
The Merton Winter Night Shelter, part of Faith in Action, opened on 2 December. It provides a warm, dry, safe place to sleep for the coldest months of the year until mid-March, and is hosted by different faith groups across the borough each with their own volunteer group.
