It’s been a bumper Christmas as we took in donations from generous London-based organisations and individuals,
Once again this Christmas we’re indebted to South Western Railway and their passengers from and around the Wimbledon area. Their 2019 Shoebox Appeal, in which commuters donate festive boxes filled with gifts suitable for homeless people, brought Christmas cheer to our service users, many of whom find this time of year particularly difficult.
We also received 60 sleeping bags from the Polish Embassy in London and 50 survival kits from charity Winter Streets Project.
We’re very grateful for all the donations we receive from individuals, faith groups, local schools and businesses, and charities throughout the year.
